A new VIKING themed idea for this vacant restaurant that was formerly Lucky's, Barney's Boathouse, and Mr. Bigg's
The Lucky Seven building is for sale in Scottsdale, AZ Lucky 7 Barney's Boathouse Mr. Bigg's. The place is either cursed, poorly marketed or perhaps the 3 previous restaurants served awful food, because no restaurant or bar has been successful at this "cursed location".
It's like a block away from where the "real action" happens in Scottsdale. It's right next door to an Attorney's office. My idea for this month is to create a Viking themed restaurant.
Now for the interior of the restaurant I would go with table sets shaped in the Viking ship motif as seen below:
This is just "Too Cool for School"would make the diner ease into the Viking theme of the restaurant. The bar would be Viking ship shaped also. or like this Viking ship bar which looks fantastic and fun also. Now the food is the most important thing and I would actually copy the menu of this Portland, Oregon restaurant called Viking Soul Food The Norwegian meatball Lefse wrap , Polse Lefse wrap , and the Vegetarian Lefse Wrap . They also serve a special one that is seasonal called "The Booty of the Sea" which consists of fresh pink shrimp, cucumbers, crisp greens, cherry tomatoes, aioli, toasted almonds, crunchy cabbage, arugula, and wrapped in Lefse. Lefse is like manna from Heaven. Now I like tortilla's but Lefse is much lighter, thinner, and softer and tastes great. I have eaten most of these wraps and love them. They also make dessert wraps with the Lefse which are tremendous too. The main dish would be Lingonberry Cornish hen and for bar snacks Lingonberry chicken wings
. The restaurant building in Arizona consists of three levels. Starting at the top you have the open air rooftop with bar during the day. and what it looks like at night.
I would once again change that to a Viking look. or like this. Now I was thinking about how the waitresses should be uniformed for a Viking themed restaurant and after much prayer and fasting and getting absolutely no answer as usual I googled and came up with this outfit while eating two Arby's chicken sandwiches which I got for the low price of $6.30. Miracles never cease.....EFC Celestial Dress & Gloves
Check it out here: Here: with the Ninja Viking look. Here from the back: Here below and notice the pockets on each side so the order pad tickets can be carried as well as pen or pencil or both with organizational ease. Not sure if this is authentic Viking apparel but because of my heritage, I am after all 1/64th Viking, so I am confident this validates the outfit and it will be the perfect uniform. The hood can be pulled up or down for temperature control as well as that sensational Ninja mask is perfect if Covid comes back...
I would also go with Viking themed cutlery and dishes. These drinking horns look cool, Drinking horns and for plates and cutlery Viking Plates, Cups, and Cutlery Now the bar could serve beer, Viking mead, and of course a multitude of cocktails.
Now the restrooms of course would be clearly marked with Norsemen for the men's room and Shield Maiden for the women's.
Anyhow I believe this new Viking themed restaurant can break the curse and give this wonderful vacant building a shot at everlasting glory! Three levels of floor space as I mentioned before. Here:
Here: and here: and of course a nice kitchen here: and also here: To see more photos and to get more information just click on the link. The Lucky Seven Building for sale in Scottsdale, AZ This is the perfect idea for this vacant building to break the curse and just think how fun it would be to climb up to the rooftop bar and scream out "ODIN" at the top of your lungs like actor Kirk Douglas did in the fantastic film: THE VIKINGS.
