The Old Mill restaurant in Evanston Wyoming needs restored. It is for sale for the asking price of 575,000

The Old Mill Restaurant has been out of business for several years and now it is for sale The Old Mill for sale I find the building itself very interesting because of its style and history. It was built originally as a Mill in the Chinatown district of Evanston. Evanston is only a town of around 1200 people  back in the 1800's with a Chinese population of 100. This article is very interesting I found on the web. History of THE OLD MILL RESTAURANT. In 1946 an Evanston Businessman named Joe Wheeler renovated the mill and turned it into a supper club called THE JOLLY ROGER which had a pirate theme to it which I find hysterical since Evanston is nowhere near the ocean. It stayed open though for 40 years and then was renovated as the Old Mill Restaurant. The restaurant went way down in quality apparently. Here is a review I also found hysterical.
The food was awful, the service was worse and the place was filthily. I had been warned by locals not to go to this so called restaurant but I was lured in by the charm of the historic old building. What a shame to waist a building like that, with its history with such a lousy restaurant. We had to seat ourselves, get our own menus and ask to be waited on. The waitress took forever, there was only one but then the place was next to empty. The cook came out of the kitchen and took our order. There was another boy, a bus boy I assume who did nothing and was rude when I asked him to bring me a steak knife (I had ordered a steak). The potatoes were the smallest I have ever seen and we had to request butter. We waited for over 30 minutes for a refill and finally I took the glass to the kitchen and asked for one. The food tasted very bad and the quality of meat was so poor, I would have been ashamed to serve it to my dog. If you are ever in Evanston, Wyoming, DO NOT go the Old Mill. The business seems to maintain itself on the unsuspecting tourists they lure in with the charm of the building. Nobody who lives in Evanston eats at this place, trust them. It's an experience you do not want to get into.

The building is for sale now and I am hoping someone buys it, restores it, and brings some new and improved cuisine with it. Here is a photo of the realty company sign trying to sale it.
I have some pictures of the interior from that article from 2004. It has a deck on the red wood side for people to sit outside and the other side of the building could be set up for outdoor seating as well. Now some interior photos.
Nothing fancy, could be remodeled.
Has both booths and tables, at least back then.
If I got to choose the cuisine of the restaurant I would go with wild game. Hunting is a big deal in Wyoming and it might have appeal. Looking at the building architecture though it kind of looks German so maybe a German Restaurant with excellent food like the Bavarian Grill of Plano, Texas. I mean Evanston is cold and snowy like Germany and the Russian Front so if some ambitious German chef would like to come here to start a new German Restaurant it would be fantastic! If it is ever sold and restored, I hope the new owner will make sure the food has as much style as the building.
